Welcome!

Welcome to my website! As an educator in my 16th year of teaching, I grew up in the Town of Tonawanda, attended Kenmore East Senior High School eventually obtaining my Master degree in Education.

I worked in the business field for several years. After I married John, he encouraged me to quit my job and return to school to obtain my teaching certificate in Business Education.

I knew I wanted to serve the Lord, so as I continued my education, I substituted at Covenant Academy in the Town of Tonawanda, along with a couple public school districts. After graduation from Daemen College, I began my teaching career at Covenant Academy, teaching PreK through 8th grade students basic computer and word processing skills in the computer lab. I developed a scope and sequence for each grade level through researching the NYS Learning Standards and the National Education Technology Standards (NETS).  Eventually, I earned the title as a Technology Integration Specialist, working with the teachers in teaching them how to integrate technology into their curriculum.

I graduated with my Master's degree in Educational Technology from the State University College of New York at Buffalo and then earned my second certification in Educational Technology. I enjoy students of all ages and feel blessed that the Lord has continued to grant me His grace to do what I love to do!

Recently, I have led several teacher workshops in teaching the teachers of all disciplines how to integrate technology into their curriculum and how to create and develop WebQuests. Presently I am employed at Genesee Community College teaching in the Office/Technology department. As well, I substitute teach in two public school systems.
